Our School:
West Point Ballet is a curriculum oriented institution. We are conducting our method of teaching and learning based in the Methodology of the Cuban Ballet School Syllabus. The Cuban Ballet School is an institution that has been proven to train successful ballet- dancers of international magnitude. The founding Fathers of the Cuban School, Alicia Alonso, Fernando Alonso, and Alberto Alonso, took many years of their lives studying the French, Russian, Italian, English, and Danish Ballet schools, to bring to live the wonderful Cuban Ballet School with the best of each of them.
Having a curriculum oriented teaching method will not only allow our students to learn at the appropriated order, at the appropriate time, but will also ensure a real ballet education that will set our students apart from the rest. Part of WPB’s training method, is to ensure our students are getting a world class ballet education, as well as to increase their chances of becoming professionals, or to pursuit dance careers in college.
