Children 1 Class
Classes introduce the children to a classroom situation in a relaxed way through fun and challenging work. It introduces the children to the beauty and grace of dance arts while infusing musicality and rhythm. They learn socialization skills, improve coordination abilities, and develop their imagination. Gentle flexibility and strengthening exercises are done on the floor, and are made fun and enjoyable. Children 2 & 3 Classes
Classes incorporate the skills and activities from Children 1, but on a higher, age-appropriate level. Dancers begin to learn basic ballet positions, basic steps, and their French terminology. Physical coordination is increased with plies, stretching, splits and jumps. Counting music while dancing is introduced. Tuition
Tuition fees may be paid prior to the beginning of the school year, or via monthly installments due on the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 10th day of the month, a $15 late fee will be assessed. Full tuition must be paid regardless of the amount of classes attended. Children Division runs by Trimesters: Fall Trimester (Sept-Oct-Nov), Winter Trimester (Dec-Jan-Feb), and Spring Trimester (March-April-May) You have the option to pay by trimester, or monthly. Dress Code ~Hair must be pulled back in a bun neatly secured ~NO jewelry may be worn during class. Lilac leotard (no skirt attached), pink tights, and pink leather ballet slippers.  |
Children's Division (3-6yo)
The children's program introduces the dancer to the art of Ballet through a gentle, fun, and nurturing environment. Through these classes the young children will develop an appreciation for ballet while discovering fun and joy in discipline. Good listening skills, manners, and following directions are emphasized in each class in an atmosphere that is flexible, playful, and satisfying to the children. Annual Non-Refundable Registration Fee:$15/child $25/Family Children 1 Class Ages 3-4 $40 per Month or $100 per Trimester Wednesday 1-1:30pm (To be Confirmed) or Saturday 9-9:30am (Currently Available) Children 2 Class Ages 5-6 $45 per Month or $115 per Trimester Thursday 5:45-6:30pm or Saturday 10-10:45am Children 3 Class Ages 6 up $45 per Month or $115 per Trimester Thursday 5:45-6:30pm or Saturday 10-10:45am 
Children Division is allowed and encouraged to participate in our annual production of The Nutcracker, as well as in our Full Length end of the year ballet production.
Children's Division meets once a week
Class sizes are limited to preserve quality instruction. Placement is on a first-come first-serve basis. We offered a wide schedule to accommodate your needs, but note that all classes are subject to change upon enrollment Placement for Children's Division is based on the dancer's age in September of this academic year*
*Ages for Children's Division classes are parameters by which we place the children. Children may be moved to a different class, by the teacher, if it is deemed in the child's best interest. |
*Boys have special FREE Ballet program which begins at age 7/8*
