Students enter the School Division (Level I-VII) to start the formal study of Classical Ballet. Placement is based on the dancer's technical abilities, not necessarily their ages. Hours and days of training increase with the level of study. Promotion to the next level of study is totally at the teacher's discretion, with the student's best interest in mind.

Classical ballet terminology and basic exercises are introduced at the barre and center. Emphasis is on the positioning of the feet and arms, carriage of the body, posture, and mostly flexibility and strength.

Pre-Professional Division PPD By Audition/Invitation Only
Level VII $300 per Month Ballet Technique, Pointe, Character Dance, Contemporary, Variations M/F 4:45-7pm, T 4:45-6:45pm, W 4:30-7pm, S 10:15am-12:45pm Students are exposed to a variety of more advanced skills, including muscle control, proper posture, balance and expressiveness. Classes are longer, with more complex combinations and vocabulary. The use of heads and arms is increased in a more stylistic and coordinated manner. Pointe work begins for students that have gained the necessary strength and coordination. Level VIII $315 per Month Ballet Technique, Pointe, Character Dance, Contemporary, Variations, Repertoire M,T, Th, F 3:15-5:45pm W 3:15-6pm S 12:45-3:15pm Appearance, terminations, levels of extension, and technical domination of all difficult concepts and challenges is supported. Tuition
Non-refundable annual registration fee $15 per dancer, or $25 per family. Tuition fees may be paid prior to the beginning of the school year, or via monthly installments due on the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 10th day of the month, a $15 late fee will be assessed. Full tuition must be paid regardless of the amount of classes attended. Children Division runs by Trimesters: Fall Trimester (Sept-Oct-Nov), Winter Trimester (Dec-Jan-Feb), and Spring Trimester (March-April-May) You have the option to pay by trimester, or monthly.
Dress Code
~Hair must be pulled back in a bun neatly secured.
~NO jewelry may be worn during class.
Children Division: Lilac leotard (no skirt attached), pink tights, and pink leather ballet slippers.

Purchase ribbons ($5) and headpieces ($10) at the office. All process benefit costumes acquisition for WPB performances.
