A ballet dress code is important because it promotes discipline, helps teachers see alignment clearly, and reduces distractions. It also fosters unity among dancers and prepares them for professional environments.
Below, you will find the class leotards for Levels I through VIII. Please support your local ballet store when purchasing your leotards.

Shoes and Tights
Pink footed ballet tights, seamless with no seams in the back, must always be worn under the leotard. Pink canvas ballet shoes (no orange color) with elastic loop ribbon.
Ballet ribbon are available for purchase at the office for $5.

Hair and Headpiece
Hair must be pulled back neatly into a bun for every class. Use hairspray, gel, bobby pins, and a hairnet to secure hair smoothly and firmly. Please note that fake buns or hair donuts are not permitted.
Headpieces appropriate for each level are available for purchase from West Point Ballet for $10. They can be bought at the office or through the parent portal.

Musical Theater and Character
Dress Code for Levels V-VIII:Black character skirt, length below the knee. Black Pedini shoes with soft heel, leather black material.
These requirements ensure uniformity and professionalism in character dance classes for advanced students.
