A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is reimagined as a ballet full of magic, love, and whimsy. Set in a mystical forest, it follows four lovers, playful fairies, and a group of amateur actors. Hermia defies her father to flee with Lysander, pursued by Demetrius and Helena. Fairy king Oberon and queen Titania clash, with Puck’s potion causing comic romantic chaos. The actors’ play intertwines with the enchantments. The ballet ends in joyful reunions and harmony, celebrating love, fantasy, and imagination.
